Cheese Tartlets

Bila ada yang tanya pasal cheese tart, I teringat first time buat cheese tart ni. Masa tu takde blueberry filling. Yang ada cume kiwi je. Tu yg dapat warna hijua kat atas cheese tu. Konon2 nak buat bentuk heart tp masa makan tak berapa rasa kiwi. So bila nak ngap I amik kiwi filling yang ada dalam fridge & letak banyak2 on top of it. Baru puas hati. Hehe…

The next time I buat, I letak blueberry jem banyak2 kat cheese tu. Picture not available here sebab dah ngap before sempat snap lagi.

Perasan tak yg cute mute tu, I called them super mini tartlets. Actually ari tu gatal2 pi beli the mould sebab nampak cute sangat. For this size senang nak makan. Sekali ngap jer dah hilang. Very suitable for kids la I would say. The size kira lebih kurang macam small size cuppies.

Cheese tartlets ni sangat sesuai dijadikan sebagai hidangan minum petang. But for my case, I suka makan waktu supper. For those yang nak maintain, jangan ikut tau…

African Marble Cake & Fruit Tart

Dah banyak kali dah buat cake ni. Sangat lembut and not too sweet. Just nice. Masa mula-mula I wonder kenapa nama dia ada perkataan african. Tapi bila dah siap & tengok the cake top then I rasa I tau kenapa. Nampak macam bulu ayam yang orang afrika selalu pakai kat kepala & baju diorg kan. Hehe…

Ni pulak first time buat fruit tart untuk my family kat kampung. Rasanya before puasa ari tu. Topping with peaches & dried cherries. Seronok bila tahu they like the tarts.

Wajik Sirat

I have something new to offer, Wajik Sirat.

Wajik Sirat is made of coconut, beras pulut and sugar.

This wajik sirat is actually not made by me. It’s from my kampung at Melaka. It’s considered as Projek kampung to help people increase their income. Apart of wajik sirat, they also make regular dodol (dodol biasa) and durian flavoured dodol (dodol durian). The picture of dodol is not included here since it’s already finished. hehehe… I’ll update later.

Below is the details:

Products: Wajik Sirat, Dodol, Dodol Durian

Price: RM18.00/kg

I have tasted the 3 of them. The Wajik Sirat is very nice. Not too sweet and the texture not so hard. Just nice. I like it. And the dodol pula very chewy and not too sweet. The taste of durian memang terserlah. Pendek kata, memang best lah! Kalau nak tahu, kena try sendiri…!

The reason I am doing this is to help them promoting their products to get broader market exposure. This is not only for small orders, but also for large orders.

You can start placing orders now and it will be available after Hari Raya Aidil Adha: from 9th December 2008 onwards. To those yang nak bawak balik kg before raya tu I minta maaf banyak2 sebab I will collect it during raya nanti. But to those who are going to have Open House this coming Raya, don’t forget to add some traditional favour to your menu by having Wajik Sirat and Dodol; besides lemang and ketupat ya : )

Please note that this will not be available during festive season only but the whole year. To those who cannot decide now, it’s okay. I will keep some stocks after this.
